Summary
Salvage recording carried out during construction work on the site of the Odeon Cinema in 1935-36 recorded several post medieval finds. The medieval to post medieval evidence from this site is not discussed in detail, however, the finds recovered comprised a bone knife handle of possible 17th-18th century date and a shilling of James I (1603-1625).
