Full Description
Two air-raid shelters were recorded during archaeological investigations at Frodsham Street car park in 2011. One was located at the extreme southern end of the site in trenches 2 & 4 and the other towards the north in trench 5. It was suggested by the excavator that other wartime shelters are likely to survive across this area. (1)
