Full Description
A number of Saxon period finds have been recovered from the Pepper St. / Pepper Row area on various occasions, but no evidence of Saxon features or structures have yet been found. In 1984, pottery, a bone comb, and a decorated pin was recovered (1), while one additional piece of pottery was found in a robber trench during an evaluation in 2000 (2).
