Full Description
Two pieces of Saxon pottery (Chester ware), found during a 1995 evaluation in the Hunter St. / Princess St. area (between St Martin's Fields and Hunter's Walk) (1). Note that while no Saxon period features or buildings were identified at this particular location, extensive remains were found to the east of this site (see CHER 9017 - 9023).
