Full Description
A spread of demolition material was identified during archaeological investigation at Crook Street in 1973 between the early timber phase of construction and the subsequent stone construction. The evidence suggests a systematic demolition of the timber superstructure and the distribution of the material across the site in order to provide a level construction layer for the stone built structures (1)
