Monument record 8194 - Roman pits at Hunter Street

Archaeological investigations to the north of Hunter Street in 1996 recorded evidence of several pits cutting into the structural deposits for the Roman granary (CHER 8185). A pit cut into a single wall in trench 3 while a larger possible cess pit was recorded in trench 12. (4)
