Full Description
Evidence of a late Roman or Saxon clay surface with two faint post holes cut into the surface overlay a structure of probable Roman date (CHER 8279) to the rear of No 19 Bridge Street. The clay surface contained finds of a Roman date from the late first to early fifth century (1)
