Summary

A post medieval farmstead on the site of the earier medieval grange (see CHER 687/1). The farmhouse is built of brick, but appears to be built on earler sixteenth or seventeenth century stone footings.

The site is now occupied by a brick farmhouse which stands on a stone plinth of sixteenth or seventeenth century date.

The farmhouse and two barns are depicted on this map. There are pig styes to the immediate north of the farmhouse.
