This map depicts the farmhouse with three farm buildings to the south-west and a possible yard in-between. The plot is described as 'house, building and garden'.

This map depicts the farmhouse with probable pigsties and orchard to the north. The two larger farm buildings (of the three depicted on (3)) are still extant.

A long possibly open sided farm building has been constructed to the immediate south-west of the existing farm buildings.

A small group of farm buildings has been constructed at the southern end of the farmstead.

Only the farmhouse, the most northerly of the farm buildings and possibly the pigsties are still extant.

The name Broken Cross derives from a wayside cross once located at the junction of King Street and Penny Lane. The cross was broken in the seventeenth century.
