Full Description
An assemblage of Roman pottery and ceramic building material, recovered from mixed post-medieval contexts at 26 Foregate St. during excavations in 1995 (1). Although stratified Roman deposits were not excavated, it is thought that the potential for in situ Roman remains at this location is high, particularly given that other Roman period finds were found in the immediate vicinity during previous excavations (see ECH2485, ECH4976).
