Full Description
A relatively small assemblage of Roman pottery and finds, found in post-medieval contexts in an evaluation trench to the back of 105 - 109 Foregate St. (1). The assemblage dates to between the first and third centuries, and included some ceramic building materials.
Although this can only represent a findspot, note that Roman walling was found at this location during an earlier investigation (CHER 8035, ECH4271 respectively).
