Summary

A brickfield and brickworks is depicted on historic maps dating from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The maps depict a kiln and a number of other buildings and structures which seem to have a short lifespan as different buildings are shown on each map. The site was abandoned and the buildings demolished by 1947, however the foundations or footings to buildings or structures which were not depicted on the historic maps survive on parts of the site.
