Park Lodge is a decorated single storey building constructed of stone with quoins and timber windows with a large bay window on the front elevation. It is finished with a ridged roof and plain tiles.

Victoria Park is a municipal park which was opened in 1894. It was previously part of an earlier garden landscape.

A gate lodge to Victoria Park. Much of this park was formerly part of the gardens of Fence House, which was demolished sometime between 1871 and 1898, incorporated into a public park opened in 1894 (see 6). This lodge is located at the former entrance to Fence House and the later public park, and a further lodge is located to the north-west (see CHER 5526).
