A three storey brick building which had two waterwheels, both said to be high breast, now used by the local Scouts. The wheels and machinery were removed in about 1930. The mill adjoins the lock on the Shropshire Union Canal. The original brook-fed pond was apparently insufficient for two wheels, so a leat was cut from the River Gowy, and turned round the bank and up the valley to the mill pool. The tailrace follows the canal and returns to the river
