Summary

112 Station Road Ellesmere Port Essentially a 2 storey building with further accomodation created in the attic space to make the 3rd floor. The chimneys are stone capped brick. The roof is of slate with a stone capped brick parapet over a stone classical entablature. The upper storey is red brick with ashlar surrounds to the sash windows and a stone string course at lintel height. The ground floor is of coursed ashlar with taller windows to the former banking halls. These windows may have been filled with modern replacements. The main door is on the corner of the building and has a decorative stone arched canopy.

Description

Essentially 2 storey with 2nd floor accommodation within the roof (i.e. 3 floors).

Pitched slate roof with stone capped brick chimney stacks. Stone capped brick parapet above stone classical entablature.

First floor windows are sliding sash with Ashlar dressed stone surrounds and string course at lintel height. Walls are red brick.

Ground floor walls, coursed Ashlar stone with tall windows to former banking halls.

Existing windows may be modern replacements.

Decorative round arch canopy to corner door on splays.

Condition

Good.

Current Use

In use as a betting shop.
