Summary

A rare example of interwar International Modern architecture in this part of the world. The house is mainly two storey with a 3-storey tower. There are long horizontal white painted metal frame windows to all floors with curved panes on rounded corners. There are drip moulds over the windows, all of which have blue masonry sills. There is a flat soffit overhang to tower and blue painted coping to the parapet of the main block. The walls are all rendered in a white stucco flat render, on a black painted plinth with drip mould cover.

Mainly two storey with a 3-storey “tower”.

Long horizontal white painted metal frame windows to all floors with curved panes on rounded corners.

Flat soffit overhang to “tower”, blue painted coping to parapet of main block.

White stucco flat render to all walls with drip moulds over window. Blue masonry sills to all windows. Black painted plinth with drip mould cover.

Good.

In use as a dwelling.
