Whitegates LL72 (Previously LL WN/6) Address: Whitegates Crescent, Willaston Architect: Hubert A Thomas Date: 1935 Description A rare example of interwar “International Modern” in this part of the world. Mainly two storey with a 3-storey “tower”. Long horizontal white painted metal frame windows to all floors with curved panes on rounded corners. Flat soffit overhang to “tower”, blue painted coping to parapet of main block. White stucco flat render to all walls with drip moulds over window. Blue masonry sills to all windows. Black painted plinth with drip mould cover. Condition Good. Current Use In use as a dwelling. Updated April 2007
