Number of medieval coins recovered from fields to the east of Wrexham Road in 1984. Finds included:
Class 5 short cross penny of John (c1205-1210), minted in London/Canterbury (1, 2)
Class 4 short cross penny of John (c1199-1205), minted in York. (1, 3)
Silver groat of Edward IV, light coinage (c1477-1480) (1, 4)
