Full Description
Grade II lodge: built in the mid C19 for C R B Legh in English garden wall bond red brick with rock-faced buff sandstone dressings, a Welsh slate roof and 2 brick chimneys, Jacobean style. It has a 1-storey, 3-bay front on a stone plinth. The central bay under a triangular stone-coped gable, with ball and obelisk finials, has a semi-circular headed entrance to porch with a blank shield above. To right is a canted bay with single triangular headed lights, label moulds and containing sashes. There is a similar light in the left end bay.
