Monument record 5042 - Iron Age at Oversley Farm

Excavation at Oversley Farm 1997-1998 in advance of runway expansion at Manchester Airport

Only one pit can be positively assigned to this period on site, the evidence merely serves to demonstrate a continued presence/use of the site during the Iron Age. A four post structure is also assigned on typological grounds to this phase although there was no dating evidence to support the allocation.
