Full Description

A small group of late Roman coins comprising a radiate coin of Claudius II Gothicus (AD268-70), a coin of Theodosius I, (379-395) and two other 4th century coins.

Some or all of these finds may form part of a dispersed hoard (CHER 7526/1/1-4). Alternatively the concentration of finds may suggest a settlement, possibly associated with the Middlewich to Whitchurch road (see CHER 1189/1/0).
