Summary
Roman coin found in this parish. It has been identified as an antoninianus of Gallienus (AD 253-268). The antoninianus was introduced by the Emperor Caracalla (AD 198-217). This coin was nominally worth two denarii, indicated by the portrait of the emperor wearing a "radiate" crown, not a laurel wreath. These coins are also known as "radiates".
