Full Description
A copper alloy radiate copy of Carausius (AD 287 - 293) minted in London, with ... NI AVG inscribed on the reverse, and IMP CARAVSIVS [(P F?) AVG] inscribed on the obverse, with the emperor standing right holding spear and globe (1). This coin is unusual; its reverse legend is unclear but is not that normally associated with this type, which would be SAECVLI FELICIT, and therefore appears to be an unpublished variety (1). The coin was found by metal detector, by a private individual.
