Summary

Record of a late Bronze Age hoard, found at Broxton, present location is unknown. The hoard consisted of a chisel, two looped palstaves, and a basal looped spearhead with leaf-shaped blade. An agreement to remove a large mound at Broming Field, Broxton in 1871 may indicate when and where this hoard was found and may suggest that these artefacts were associated with a burial.
