Full Description
Greenwalls Farmhouse, Church Road. Probably late C17, with C19 wing, left, slightly recessed. Brown brick, irregular bond, with slate roofs. Two broad sandstone-coped gables, with kneelers to front. Two storeys. C17 wing has six windows containing C19 casements. Victorian wing has small-pane casements, mostly of timber. Flush brick chimneys in end gables. Late C19 oak framed gabled projecting porch over C18 six-panel door. Interior: Much altered. A former cheese-room is in the upper storey of the Victorian wing. Full architectural description 1).
