Summary

The Heritage (formerly Yew Tree Cottage) is a Grade II listed building. It was probably built in the mid 17th century and was originally two cottages. The walls are timber framed with brick-nogging infill on the lower story with brick walls above. It is two storeys high with a gray slate roof. The windows are small paned. There is a painted brick one-storey lean-to against the right gable-end.

The Heritage (formerly Yew Tree Cottage), Bickley Moss. Cottage, probably mid seventeenth century, altered, of brick-nogged oak small framing below former wall-plate, brick above. Grey slate roof. Two storeys. Small pane casements. Painted brick one-storey lean-to against right gable-end. Interior: Indications of former inglenook against right gable, chamfered beams, plan altered and staircase renewed. Front entrance blocked, present entrance through rear wing. Formerly two cottages.
