Description

BICKLEY C.P. BICKLEY MOSS SJ 54 lilt The Heritage 3/6 II Cottage, probably mid C17, altered, of brick-nogged oak small framing below former wall-plate; brick (painted) above. Grey slate roof. 2 storeys; 2 3-light small-pane casements to lower storey, 2 2-light small-pane casements in gabled half-dormers to upper storey. Diagonal braces in upper panels. Flush gable chimney at right end; projecting gable chimney at left end, partly removed, both of brick. Painted brick 1-storey lean-to against right gable-end. Late C20 single storey rear wing not included in the item. Interior: Indications of former inglenook against right gable; chamfered beams; plan altered and staircase renewed. Front entrance blocked: present entrance through rear wing. Formerly 2 cottages. Listing NGR: SJ5391148782
