Full Description
Carden Green, Higher Carden. Cottage, C17. Sandstone and brick on sandstone plinth; thatched roof covered in corrugated iron. A 1.5 storey, two-cell rectangular building with central ridge chimney. Boarded door; small wood casements in brick-arched opening to each side; other windows in end and rear walls are late C20. Small late C20 brick extension to rear. Interior: central lobby entrance. Stone inglenook has small fire window to rear. Full architectural description (1).
