Cottage C17, sandstone and brick on sandstone plinth; thatched roof covered in corrugated iron. A 1½ storey 2-cell rectangular building with central ridge chimney. Boarded door; small wood casement in brick-arched opening to each side; other windows in end and rear walls are late C20. Small late C20 brick extension to rear. Interior: Central lobby-entrance. Stone ingle-nook has small fire-window to rear. Steep stair with winders through 90?.
