Summary

The Manor House is a Grade II listed farmhouse, probably late 16th century in origin. It has an early 18th century exterior and some 20th century alteration. It is built of brick with a welsh slate roof and three brick chimneys. The front has four-bays and the third bay has a gabled two-storey porch with a semi- circular headed entrance.

Full Description

The Manor House, the Village. Farmhouse, probably late C16 origins, early C18 exterior with some C20 alterations. Brick, Welsh slate roof and three brick chimneys. Rectangular plan with an entry behind the stack. Two- storey, four-bay front. Third bay has a gabled two-storey porch with a semi- circular headed entrance. Interior: Extensively refurbished but two heavy ceiling beams survive. Outline of massive central fireplace also visible. Full architectural description (1).
