Site Event/Activity record ECH7049 - Impact Assessment on Heritage Assets: Previous Silk Printing Works, Langley, Macclesfield, Cheshire

Heritage assessment resulting from the survey of the remains of three late nineteenth century buildings associated with the former Langley Print Works in 2018 (***see below). The work was undertaken as part of a proposal to re-develop the site at Langley Business Park which would include demolition of the buildings. The report discusses the case that there is insufficient evidence both historically and physically that Building A was the wheel house at Langley Print Works.
