Description
A heritage assessment was produced in support of a proposed development at Brook House Farm, Adlington, including restoration and refurbishment of the listed original farmhouse, along with an extension to provide two dwellings. Brook House Farm dates partly from the 16th and 17th centuries and is statutorily-listed at Grade II. A late 18th-early 19th century block attached on the west side is not covered by the listing. Latterly three dwellings, the house has been unoccupied for several years and is deteriorating. (1)
