A heritage statement was produced in 2019(?) for Number 4 King Street, prior to proposed alteration. King Street is one of two main commercial streets, although it sits lower than Princess Street, affording views over and across to the Moor. The area is prominent for Georgian and Victorian architecture. Number 4 is Grade II listed and of historical significance due to its history and architectural merit as part of a pair of Georgian houses which contribute to the character of King Street. (1)
