Description

In 1979 a plan of the hillfort by D Longley, prior to the publication of the VCH of Cheshire. This provided a basic plan of the site, with the area around the exterior of the entranceway, in which Varley's 1930s excavations were undertaken, marked as 'disturbance' (1).
