Description
Bloor Homes has commissioned MetroMOLA to carry out a historic environment assessment in advance of proposed development at land off Hallows Drive, Kelsall. The site of the proposed development covers approx 1.1 hectares. The scheme comprises the construction of 36 private residential houses with associeated garages, gardens and infrastructure.
No heritage assets were identified that would be direclty or indirectly affected by the development. Based on the available evidence the site is assessed to have a low to moderate potential for archaeological remains dating from the later prehistoric (BA and IA) to Roman periods to exist within the site.
NB date of site visit (October 2010) given in report is wrong visit was probably made in first half 2012
