Description
Following on from initial evaluation trenches 1 & 2 (ECH4093) a further 10 trenches were subsequently excavated in 2004. The evidence indicated fairly good preservation levels of Roman remains with evidence of the intervallum road and a possible structure. A number of medieval pits overlay the Roman remains (2).
