Description

Geophysical survey carried out on the ramparts and interior of Maiden Castle Iron Age hillfort as a training event run by the Habitat and Hillforts landscape partnership Scheme. Both the Resistivity and Fluxgate Gradiometer revealed anomalies which suggest a level of archaeological activity within the hillfort (1).
