Description
Watergate Street, 1890: discovery of base and lower portion of a Roman column, remains retained in position (1). The discovery is reported to have been to the rear of Alderman Charles Brown's premises (2).
City Walls Road, 1890: fragments of wall plaster and tile concrete with distemper painting on surface were recorded (2).
