Description
A watching brief was maintained during the excavation of a new building's foundation trench (1.7m wide by 15m long) at Albion House, Albion St., Chester, following an earlier evaluation of the site (R2586). Archaeological deposits dating to the post-medieval period and some Roman material was observed in the sections and recorded but left largely undisturbed by the new development (1).
