Description
This report contains the results of an archaeological evaluation undertaken during June 2006 to the rear of a wine bar (Got Wine) at 10 Commonhall Street, Chester. A single test trench was excavated, showing that well-preserved archaeological features and deposits, associated with the medieval and post medieval periods (including a post-medieval pit group) survive at this location.
