Description
At time of visit strip foundations for new office block had been cut & partially filled with concrete. Those at n. end cut to 1.2m through brick rubble & walls (former buildings terraced into hillside?) at southern end cut to 2m. Largely through brick rubble, but clay exposed at base. No evidence of archaeological deposits. Looks like whole area has been stripped/terraced into hillside rising up to church- same scenario as seen at moody street eval. By marches
