Description
Archaeological evaluation at the Queen's School in advance of development proposals. Three trenches were opened to varying depths according to the extent of impact of the proposals. Evidence recorded was primarily post medieval with a small quantity of stratified pottery recovered from layers and features. A scorched layer indicated an industrial process in the area. The evidence was sealed by a deliberate clay dump.
