Description
A stone coffin can be found on the hillside in a pasture field at Langley. It is now used as a water trough for sheep. The coffin is made of fine gritstone, and is without a lid. Its size suggests it was for a child. There is no medieval parish church at Langley, so there are no indications of its original location.
