Description

Following series of planned repairs and emergency recovery due to partial collapse of the walls, several sites were chosen by Mr I Jones, City Surveyor, for deliberate investigation into the Roman foundations. The first such site was at the Kaleyards, near an earlier exploration at the Hoppole Paddock area (1).
