Description
In 1939, two castor ware beakers were found in Queens Park Rd. during excavations for a water pipe line to the City Schools on the south side of the street. One beaker was found near the kerb on the north side of the road c 67m east from the southwest corner of Bottoms Lane. The other was found 5.5m east of the first, but on the opposite side of the road (1).
