Description
A hexagonal reinforced concrete structure with splayed machine gun ports on each face.
Access at rear shielded by concrete blast wall.
Part of a defensive line across the Wirral (see also Parkgate, Spital, Bromborough) to protect Birkenhead docks from a paratroop (or even landing craft) invasion on the Dee Estuary.
Condition
Fair.
Current use
Disused, on land belonging to Naylor Estates.
