Cross. C19 on possibly earlier base. Red sandstone. Weathered base, octagonal plinth with 2-stepped cap, tapering shaft of 8 stones, moulded square cornice and simple cross. The shaft is reputed previously to have been a column of the City Exchange. (Bennett F: Chester Cathedral: Chester: 1925-).
