The south-west garden face, prominent from the Dee and meadows beyond, has verandah to ground floor and continuous balcony under hipped canopy to first floor, on slender columns. The wall-face behind verandah has some alterations; probably formerly with central French window and three 12-pane sashes to each side, now replaced 1-pane glazed door with 12-pane margined window in small projection left with 2 sashes to left and 3 to right of door. The first floor has 7 full-height 15-pane sashes with architraves; fretted segmental-arched heads to front of balcony; simple railings. Sillband and seven 12-pane sashes to second floor. INTERIORS not inspected. This building was probably formed from 2 detached mid C19 houses united and remodelled later C19. (Ordnance Survey: 1:2500 Plan of Chester, 1st Edition: 1875-).
