5/10 Garden wall and gateway at Burton Hall.
GV II
Garden wall and gateway: early C17 for John Worden with later repairs. English bond orange brick with buff sandstone dressings. Low brick wall on stone base with triangular and beaded coping. Wall runs to south west and north of hall, with inserted openings in south and west. At the centre of the north side is a semi-circular headed moulded stone archway with keyblock and pendant and a flat hood mould above. It contains a recent board door of no special interest.
