Formerly house, later pub, now house and shop: dated 1753 for I Sadler but of 2 builds, C20 alterations. Flemish bond orange brick on natural red sandstone base containing a rock-cut cellar. Welsh slate roof, 2 brick chimneys. Single-pile plan. 3-storey, 4-bay front. 2-light steel casements in ground storey, wooden casements elsewhere. The 2 main storeys have flat gauged and rubbed brick heads with key blocks. 2nd bay has a C20 gabled porch and doorway approached by 4 steps. Right gable end has an added shop front and diamond-shaped datestone in gable. Interior: not inspected.
